Ground Works Seeks Submissions to its 2024 Collection
Exploring the possibilities of annual collections, Ground Works is pleased to invite submissions to a 2024 collection; Stage 1 submissions received by January 29, 2024 will be given priority consideration. All research projects that integrate the arts with other disciplines will be considered.
Submission at Stage 1 is designed to be an easy lift to determine fit with the goals of the publication, requiring a 250-word abstract, a statement of relevance, and links to evidence of impact. Successful Stage 1 submissions demonstrate that the arts are integral to the research, that the project has received some degree of external recognition, and that the work is interdisciplinary. That is, the practices and approaches of the arts must be in conversation with those of some other field(s), with that conversation tangibly influencing outcomes. Stage 2 review asks for a longer narrative as well as substantive media.
